CREDAI – Role, Purpose & Lalit Kumar Jain’s Contribution
CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India) was established in 1999 as a national body representing private real estate developers across India, and Lalit Kumar Jain was one of its founding members. In the early 2000s, he actively contributed to strengthening the organization at the regional level, serving as Vice President of CREDAI West and helping expand its structure and influence. A major milestone came in 2011, when he was elected as the National President of CREDAI, where he focused on improving transparency, professionalism, and ethical practices in the real estate sector. Following this, he also served in senior national leadership roles, including National Chairman during the early 2010s, where he played an important role in supporting key industry reforms such as RERA and promoting “Mission Transparency.” Through these contributions, Lalit Kumar Jain helped shape CREDAI into a stronger national platform for organized and accountable real estate development in India.
